Cookie Policy
Last updated August 18, 2026
The short version
pbqSimulator doesn't run ads or analytics trackers today, so there's very little to disclose here. Staying signed in uses your browser's local storage, not a cookie. The choice you make in our cookie banner is saved so we don't ask again, and it's what will govern any analytics or advertising cookies we add in the future.
What keeps you signed in
When you log in, your session is stored in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) so you stay signed in between visits. This is essential to how the site works and isn't affected by the accept/reject choice below — there's no tracking cookie to opt out of for sign-in, because none is used.
The cookie banner
The banner you see on your first visit saves your choice — "Accept" or "Reject" — in your browser's local storage under the key cookie-consent. Today, nothing on the site is actually gated behind that choice, since we don't yet run any analytics or advertising cookies. If we add them later, "Accept" is what will turn them on; "Reject" keeps them off. Either way, the core simulator keeps working normally.
To change your answer, clear that local storage key (or your browser's site data for pbqSimulator) and the banner will ask again.
Cookies from Stripe
When you make a payment, Stripe's checkout page may set its own cookies on Stripe's domain to process the transaction securely. Those are outside our control and governed by Stripe's own cookie and privacy policies, not ours.
